Our Teaching Approach

At HK Kidz, we believe that the learning process should be integrated with all the joys that each age brings. As a result, our teaching method is adapted to the age, level, and specific needs of the children, and to meet the interests and specific abilities of each particular age group.

We provide children with a hands-on approach to language learning that brings the language to life, and encourages both communication and interaction. Our goal is to cultivate a positive attitude towards language learning and to equip your child with lifelong skills.

To achieve this, we:

  • endeavour to use the target language only in the classroom ~ to encourage your child to interact with his/her teacher and classmates in the target language;
  • use specifically designed lesson plans ~ to meet your child's special needs and abilities and instil a joy of learning;
  • provide a creative and stimulating platform where your child can draw on his multi-sensory skills and abilities ~ to cultivate his/her creativity, stimulate his/her learning process and make learning more enjoyable and complete;
  • use a wide variety of age-appropriate activities, such as rhymes, songs, stories, puppets, drama, dance, arts and crafts, games ~ to engage your child and encourage him/her to speak whenever he/she can, thus accelerating his/her progress and building confidence;
  • offer a supportive and positive learning environment ~ so that your child feels secure and comfortable and progressively builds up his/her self-confidence;
  • provide you with regular reviews and feedback on your child's progress ~ to keep you updated on your child's development and achievements;
  • limit the number of students per class to 6 ~ to guarantee your child as much quality time and individual attention from his/her teacher as possible and create a bond so that your child truly loves coming to class;
  • employ caring, highly qualified and experienced native speaking teachers who love teaching children ~ to establish good language habits right from the start and make a world of difference to the future of your child.
